I carry out this mission statement via service as a Psychotherapist in private practice specializing in the treatment of individuals, couples, and families; as an Author publishing independent research regarding Optimal Mental Health, Integrative Healing Models, and Psychospirituality; and as a Humanitarian managing an emergency relief effort for those affected by natural disasters and/or personal crises.

Focus:
Continued research, publication, presentation, and application regarding the concepts of Optimal Mental Health, Integrative Healing Models, and Psychospirituality in order to contribute to the promotion of the health and wellbeing of "selves and systems."
Activities:
Daily provision of 6 hours of direction, counseling, and psychotherapy services.
Daily engagement in research and publication regarding Optimal Mental Health, Integrative Healing Models, and Psychospirituality.
Daily interaction with other professionals in the local community regarding my research and practice.
Weekly teaching of graduate level psychology and counseling students in the capacity of Adjunct Professor.
Weekly provision of supervision and consultation services to associate clinicians and counseling trainees.
Weekly efforts to intervene with situations of need via The Saint Michael Relief Fund.
Monthly seminars, presentations, and/or retreats presenting the findings and applications of my research.

Dr. Mik Ludwig, PhD
Dr. Mik Ludwig is a psychotherapist, author, and humanitarian whose work focuses upon research, publication, presentation, and application regarding the concepts of Optimal Mental Health, Integrative Healing Models, and Psychospirituality in order to contribute to the promotion of the health and wellbeing of "selves and systems."
As a psychotherapist, he owns a thriving private practice where he provides positively oriented, scientifically integrative, and spiritually sensitive direction, counseling, and psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families.
As an author, Dr. Mik provides research, publication, and presentation regarding the the concepts of Optimal Mental Health, Integrative Healing Models, and Psychospirituality via the Institute for Integrative Counseling & Psychotherapy.
As a Humanitarian, he serves as founder and administrator of The Saint Michael Relief Fund, a charitable effort that responds to international, domestic, and local disasters and/or crises with financial aid and/or direct service interventions.
Dr. Mik's preparation for these endeavors has included undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate education in theology (GTh), behavioral science/psychology (BS), counseling (MS), and counselor education and supervision (PhD). He is also a veteran of the military and regional police service.
Dr. Mik’s academic honors include graduations magna cum laude, cum laude, and summa cum laude respectively, as well as lifetime memberships within Psi Chi, the National Honor Society for Psychology, and Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit National Honor Society.
He is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor, and he holds/has held memberships within the American Psychological Association (APA), The American Counseling Association (ACA), and many other psychological and social science organizations.
